Yesterday Hamburg’s Circle Culture Gallery invited, together with Interview Magazine, to the opening of french artist and club owner (Le Baron) André Saraiva. Women with pearl earrings, men in pinstriped suits, tramps, magazine publisher, many dogs, Designer and young russian girls checked out the work in the heart of Eppendorf.
The Images with the charismatic “Mr. A” – the Cartoon-Image, with which Saraiva gained international renown in the 90ies – have been the ones that stood out. The best interpretation was probably the Micky Mouse with Boner. That’s always a good one.
