The fashion world and the drug world are often close to each other.
Designers take drugs and drug dealers wear designer clothes.(mostly such cool show-off brands like DOCLE & GABBANA, ARMANI, or VERSACE). So, both worlds sort of finance each other in a way and thus have a great relationship of dependency with each other.
Artist Jonathan Paul now completely merged the two worlds – at least aesthetically. He created sculptures that look like a pill packaging and are branded with French high fashion labels.
We think that’s great, also because designer drugs (ecstasy, speed) fit very well to the current 1990’s trend.
