It’s highly trendy in the alcohol industry to let artist designs bottles for booze.
The vodka brand ABSOLUT has been doing so for a while now and may have collected more artists than Wrhol had in his Factory. The most interesting for us fashion people is the GARETH PUGH-bottle.
The Paris-based music- and fashionlabel MAISON KITSUNÉdesigned an absinth bottle for PERNOD. It looks good.
On the beer market one holds to the classical clientelle and lets musicians design bottles. HEINEKEN’s recently got the METRONOMY band to do it, BECK’S got BLOC PARTY.
In Champagne field one stays French: MOET instructed the Paris-based night club owner and graffitti artist André Saraiva to design a botlle of rosé.
It looks like anyone might design a bottle of booze. We find it totally great but are asking ourselves: when are bloggers (us, for example) gonna be able to do that ?
It doesn’t have to be a soda bottle. A bottle of poppers would be absolutely fine for a start. We could surely present several ideas already.
Alright, it is enough by now: this autumn, the crawling cold and also the wet feet.
From now on I am wearing boots. Call me whatever you want. If you insist also a Prenzlauer Berg-hiker.
Starting today, I am putting my feet in the warm-feet-classic RED WING, so that I will stop freezing. One would know this shoes mainly by seeing them on advertisement-agency owners from Hamburg wearing them during weekend-autumn-walks with their big dogs while resting on Sylt or on edgy Düsseldorf- inhabitants, who also enjoy wearing ‘Designer-Jeans‘ and half-long hair. I am neither of those two things, and I do not want to become either.
But them and me, we are connected now: by having warm, dry feet. And that is worth it! For real. It is enough.
