Lookbook: KTZ (Kokon to Zai) – Fall/Winter 2013

Those who are up for futuristic street wear that looks as if came straight from a Polish gangster rap video should keep an eye out for label KTZ.

Founded as the side project of London (and Paris) stores KOKON TO ZAI, the label is arguably presenting the most spaced-out looks in the industry at the moment.

For their Fall/Winter collection 2013, designers Marja Pejoski and Sasha Bezovski (both of course graduates of the university Central St. Martins) suggest the following: Tribals, leather imitations, tracksuits, plastic fur, skirts, and layers.

At first glance that certainly sounds quite a bit like transvestite trashy. However, that it doesn’t look it might be the most impressive achievement of the designers. Well done!

We especially dig the triple combination of long pants, shorts, and skirts.

Go KTZ! Go!
