GQ Magazine says: Dandy-David and Dandy-Jakob belong to the “100 most important men under 40”

The guys over at GQ Magazine think we belong to the elaborate group of the “100 most important men under 40” in Germany. We obviously agree. Always have.

The September 2013 issue says the following about us:

“Hipper than all designers that have so far emerged from Berlin. The two creators of blog DANDY DIARY communicate fashion and trends through music clips, porn movies, parties, or at times as streaker-stunt at DOLCE & GABBANA. That’s what the fashion world is talking about.”

We’re thanking the academy, bowing in modesty and are quoting Jay-Z: “Thank you, thank you, you’re far too kind!”

The only downside was that that unfortunately the list isn’t ranked. We say unfortunately because we’d really like to know whether we’re before Philipp Plein – or after him. Oh well.

Anyway: we’re very honored to be in a list with Jan Delay, Damir Doma, Mario Gøtze, Bent Angelo Jensen, Paul Kalkbrenner, Bernhard Wilhelm, Stefan “Kretzsche” Kretzschmar, Benjamin von Stuckrad-Barre, Sebastian Vettel, the so called “Cro”, Dirk Nowitzki, Christian Ulmen, Joko & Klaas, and last but not least Kim “Dotcom” Schmitz.

That’s why we’ll also forgive the GQ editors the whole thing with Sido. And Bill Kaulitz. And Oliver Pocher.
