G-SHOCK streetstyle exhibition – Friday in Berlin

Those of you who follow us on Instagram (we strongly recommend you do), might have already been lucky enough to see that I met up with far-beyond-streetstyle-blogger Mary Scherpe to take a few photos for favorite watch brand G-Shock.

Because my hair looked like shit that day, Mary just focused on the essentials: The cool-ass silver MARTIN MARGIELA x G-SHOCK watch.

If you have some time to spare, appreciate the occasional alcoholic beverage and if you are in Berlin you can take a look at the result of the “G-Session Berlin”. In the presence of Mary S. the images will be exhibited there.

It goes without saying that I will be there as well to beg Mary and G-Shock to give me as a gift a signed picture of myself. I mean, that much self-centeredness must be allowed.

Just to give you the complete overview and in case I should have forgotten something, here is the text the G-Shock ladies sent me:

“During its 30 years of brand history G-SHOCK has established itself as an essential part of urban fashion and streetwear. Not surprising given the fact that the indestructible watch is available in countless versions and color ways, always matching the look. Street outfits and G-SHOCK designs have always had an influence on each other.

Streetstyle photography has grown from a small idea to a global phenomenon in recent years – There are many streetstyle blogs in a variety of different styles nowadays.

Few of them however, have the same eye and instinct for the best shots such as Mary Scherpe has been presenting them on her blog Stil in Berlin for years now.

G-SHOCK asked Mary SCHERPE to capture images of five selected fashion bloggers in Germany for the G-SESSIONS streetstyle exhibition – in their current favorite outfit plus the matching G-SHOCK. The photos can be seen on 12 July at the exhibition in Voo Store in Berlin!”

Streetstyle Vernissage, 12 July 2013, 6pm – 10pm, G-SESSIONS at Voo Store, Oranienstraße 24 / Berlin Kreuzberg
