He wears a head scarf underneath his broad-brimmed hats, hoop earrings, a scarf around the neck, silver chains a skull ring on the ring finger since the heady 1970s. Essential for the distinctive look: a cigarette in the right corner of the mouth. Bohemian Gypsy, to describe it precisely.A style which he has remained loyal to over the years.
Richards is a constant source of inspiration for the fashion world. How strong the influence of Richards is, is illustrated by the example of Johnny Depp. The actor, who is himself known for his distinctive style, was inspired by Richards for his Jack Sparrow character from the “Pirates of the Caribbean” blockbuster.
Johnny Depp seems to have found his personal style inspiration in Richards, too. The influence of Richards on the actor’s wardrobe is unmistakable.
We raise our glass to Keith Richards, the style icon. We wish him and his band another fifty years of success.
