Copenhagen Fashion Week: Asger Juel Larsen Spring/Summer 2014

Gangs are continued inspiration for the work of Asger Juel Larsen. He has fashion films recorded with flag-waving gangs, or, also a reference to group dynamics, has his models march towards the audience closely together.

For his Spring/Summer 2014 collection Larsen had a group of youngsters in mind. The AJL-gang escapes from a cyber-sanatorium in a world where social media have taken over.

The first looks, white, hospital-inspired introduce to the world of Asger Juel Larsen, afterwards it continued with bronze-colored overall look. The silhouette of the collection: Shorts, a little longer than the knee, stockings, and a XXL shirt. A lot of cool designers from Rick Owens, to Shaun Samson, and JUUN. J. are showing such a silhouette currently.

Later, Larsen still had some digital prints up his sleeve and presented looks with large prints that were inspired by the futuristic and surrealistic drawings of Swiss artist H.R. Giger:
