The British Fashion Awards 2012 nominees have been announced today. There are 12 categories, including Emerging Talent Award – Menswear, Menswear Designer and Designer of the Year.
Christopher Kane, Mary Katrantzou and Stella McCartney have been nominated for Designer of the Year. We tap for Mary, ‘the queen of digital printing’.
Kim Jones of Louis Vuitton, Richard James and Oliver Spencer are nominated for the Menswear Designer. Designer Kim Jones is currently celebrating big success with Louis Vuitton. He provides the hipness of Louis Vuitton, so we firmly believe in Kim Jones’ glorious victory.
And in the third category, Emerging Talent Award, Agi & Sam, Jonathan Saunders and Lou Dalton have been nominated. We support Agi & Sam and keep our fingers crossed for their colorful fashion.
On Tuesday, 27 November, the British Fashion Awards take place, we’ll know more then.
Alright, it is enough by now: this autumn, the crawling cold and also the wet feet.
From now on I am wearing boots. Call me whatever you want. If you insist also a Prenzlauer Berg-hiker.
Starting today, I am putting my feet in the warm-feet-classic RED WING, so that I will stop freezing. One would know this shoes mainly by seeing them on advertisement-agency owners from Hamburg wearing them during weekend-autumn-walks with their big dogs while resting on Sylt or on edgy Düsseldorf- inhabitants, who also enjoy wearing ‘Designer-Jeans‘ and half-long hair. I am neither of those two things, and I do not want to become either.
But them and me, we are connected now: by having warm, dry feet. And that is worth it! For real. It is enough.
